Hi, my name is Anita Schmidt (she/her). I am a licensed clinical social worker, mother, daughter, partner, caregiver, community member and older adult. I have raised two children, loved family members with addiction and mental health challenges, experienced divorce, changed my career later in life, experienced illness and end of life care with family members, and grief for those who have passed.

My life informs my clinical practice. I know that navigating life’s challenges is never easy. I offer a safe, nonjudgmental and confidential space to process your experience, identify your needs, simplify goals into attainable steps and cultivate resilience to ride the waves of difficulty and emotion.

I offer sessions via Tele-health for residents of Illinois and Colorado.
